Range Rover. Born in 1970 – Reborn in 2017

In 1970, the Range Rover was born, and this introduction truly changed the automotive industry. A luxury SUV has been paired with such rugged off-road 4WD capability – something that has never been done before. Fast forward to fifty years, and Land Rover is restoring two-door Range Rovers to factory condition for future generations and car enthusiasts to purchase. Better yet, each classic model comes with a 12-month warranty.

Before any work is put into the Series l, each vehicle will be put through an in-depth examination, so Land Rover will know what needs to be restored. Next, Land Rover will restore its panels, which will be painted by the Land Rover Classic approved body shop. The five original colors will be available – Light Green, Royal Air Force Blue, Dove Grey, and Poppy Red. Each vehicle will be stripped of as many original parts as possible. Remember, the purpose is to continue the Series I’s story, not create a new one. On the inside, Land Rover will strip back the seats in their bare frames, and re-cover them with the driver’s choice of materials. Under the hood, each legendary engine goes through a rebuild and will be backed up by a 12-month or 12,000-mile warranty. Finally, Land Rover wants to ensure all components and refinished to the vehicle’s original cosmetics. Once the entire process is completed, a new chapter begins.
