Regular Maintenance: Keep Your Land Rover Running at Its Best

Your Land Rover is a major investment that rewards you every time you get behind the wheel. To help you continue getting the most from that investment, of course, it's important to keep your Land Rover on a consistent schedule of regular, factory-recommended maintenance. While we don't have room to list every task and every interval, here's an overall summary of the Land Rover landmarks for some crucial service checkpoints.

What Are The Land Rover Service Intervals?

At 5,000 miles

When your Land Rover reaches the 5,000-mile level, or at six months, whichever comes first, here's what we recommend:

  • Motor oil and filter change
  • Check tire pressure, tire tread and levels of wear-and-tear
  • Lubricate the chassis
  • Check and clean car battery and cables

At 10,000 miles

Here's what should be done at every 10,000-mile mark or after 12 months, whichever comes first:

  • Check and top off coolant levels
  • Check and top off transmission fluid
  • Inspect your steering and suspension systems

At 15,000 miles

Land Rover recommends these items should be managed when you reach 15,000 miles:
